Margarita Yakuncheva

Margarita Yakuncheva is an experimental artist and a member of the Union of Professional Artists of Russia.

After an early art education at a children's art school she went on to graduate in Economics from Kuban State Agrarian University. At thirty she returned to painting and made it her principal form of expression.

She grew up in the south of Russia, by the sea, which shaped a fine, sensuous reading of the world and a romantic cast of mind. That lyricism runs through her work, where experiment meets emotional depth and an intuitive search for form.

Margarita's work is held in private collections in Russia, Switzerland, Germany, Israel, Italy, France, the United Kingdom and the UAE.
