Is it possible to make something natural?

Natural, simple, authentic, of nature — all of these are the same word.

"Working on my paintings I take inspiration from the raw texture of unworked stone and equally from the theoretical constructions with which scientists unlock the universe. We know the beauty of the world through our eyes; humanity knows the beauty of the cosmos through mathematical equations and physical theory. Dry formulas are only an instrument for describing nature's spellbinding work at astronomical scale.

Through monochrome, minimalism, relief and the play of light and shadow I try to carry the beauty of natural motifs. As a visual rendering of small pieces of the universe, my works are meant to bring the viewer harmony and calm."
